Ashley Bratton
Board Chair

Ashley Bratton is an Associate at Promontory Financial Group (PFG), an IBM Company, where she helps clients implement process and technology changes to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and promote growth. Prior to PFG to worked as a teacher and coordinator in the Knowledge is Power Program network of charter schools in the District of Columbia. Additionally, she sits on the Board of the UNForgotten Fund, which provides microloans to women in Lusaka, Zambia. She holds a B.S. from Georgetown University and a M.P.A in social policy from Cornell University.

Nancy McGuire Choi
Board Vice Chair

Nancy McGuire Choi is a social sector executive with 15 years of experience in technology innovation, information management, and international development. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Development Gateway, an international social enterprise that creates technologies to advance data-driven decisions for governments, development agencies, and civil society organizations in 60+ countries. Nancy received an MS in Foreign Service from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a BA in Anthropology from Harvard University.

Zubin Adrianvala, PhD
Board Member

Zubin Adrianvala secured his PhD from the University of Maryland, College Park. In his previous work as a social researcher, he was also a Peace scholar (2013-14) at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) and a J.N. Tata Scholar(2006).He holds a Master's degree in Architecture (Design) from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Amravati University, India. He has worked as a Project Leader, teacher, designer and Architect for organizations in the U.S., India and Australia.

Jeremy Biggs
Board Member

A native of Vienna, VA, Jeremy J. Biggs graduated from the United States Naval Academy (USNA) in 2006 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. Jeremy served seven years of active duty in the Navy: Division Officer for Counter-Narcotic Trafficking deployments to Central America on the USS MCINERNEY (FFG 8), nuclear propulsion plant operator on the aircraft carrier USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH (CVN-77), and admissions officer and adjunct professor at his alma mater, USNA.

Jeremy joined Goldman Sachs Investment Management Division after receiving his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School in New York City.  He is a proud native of the D.C. Metropolitan Area and lives with his wife, Tamica, in Washington, D.C.

Joseph Costa
Board Member

Joe Costa is an Associate Vice President at The Cohen Group, a Washington, D.C. based global consulting and strategic advisory firm, where he leads Fortune 100 client relationships at the senior executive level. Joe provides strategic advice to corporate senior management on political and regulatory risk as well as go-to-market strategies, including market sizing, lead generation, customer targeting, and partnership development. He supports senior executives on the political, legal, and regulatory factors that may impact their company's ability to successfully enter and operate in a market. He also helps open and sustain lines of communication with government, business, non-profit, media and financial leaders who could impact a company's success in the market.

Joe is a mentor a Dcode42, a start-up accelerator for technology firms. He is a Truman National Security Project Fellow and received a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago where he was a McCormick Tribune Leadership Fellow in the Program for Urban and Community Leadership.

Betsey Hutton
Board Member

Betsey Hutton is the Director of Client Services for ICF, a billion dollar publicly traded technology and policy consulting firm. In this role Betsey works with government clients on ways to leverage digital technologies to improve citizen services and achieve organizational efficiencies. She is also the Vice President of Programs for AFCEA Bethesda (AFCEA), a non-profit that brings together government and industry executives to tackle pressing issues plaguing the public sector IT community. She received her BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her MAS from the University of Basel in Switzerland.

Sean McCue

Sean McCue is a Principal at Kearney & Company, a CPA firm based in Alexandria, VA that provides accounting, auditing, and information technology services to the Federal Government. He is responsible for business development and managing consulting engagements related to accounting, financial reporting, and audit remediation. In addition, he is active within Kearney’s mentorship programs, leading training sessions and working with entry and mid-level employees to develop their technical skills and continue to advance their careers.

Sean is originally from Pennsylvania, and moved to the DC area immediately after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006. Although he has been in the DC area for more than 10 years, he is still a passionate Pittsburgh sports fan. Sean is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager.

Theresa Mount
Board Member

Theresa Mount is an Air Traffic Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which provides safe orderly and expeditious air traffic services throughout the National Airspace System (NAS). Theresa serves as the Terminal District Manager for the Capital District which encompasses all air traffic facilities in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. She is responsible for the daily operation and administration of some of the most high profile and complex air traffic control facilities in the nation. Her district consists of twenty-two air traffic control facilities, including Washington National, Washington Dulles International, Baltimore Washington - Thurgood Marshall International, and Norfolk International airports. The district also includes Andrews Air Force Base, home of the Presidential aircraft - Air Force One. She manages and directs facility safety and program operations and is responsible for operations support, finance, and administration. She manages and safeguards resources and assures that internal controls meet Agency standards by applying activity based management in planning, controlling, and improving labor and overhead costs. Theresa most recently served ten years on the board of the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (NBCFAE).

Sheena Saydam
Board Member

Sheena Saydam spent several years in non-profit and health care policy before jumping into real estate. She quickly became one of the top producing agents in the DC Metro region. With great passion and care, Sheena and her team, Saydam Properties Group at Keller Williams Capital Properties in Dupont Circle serve clients in the District, Maryland and Northern Virginia. Sheena is an Army brat who grew on military bases overseas. She has a Master's Degree in National Security Policy and Graduate Certificate in Multi-Track Diplomacy: Transforming Violent Conflict from George Mason University. Having earned a Bachelor's degree in Government & Politics at the University of Maryland when the Men's Basketball team won the National Championship, she is a proud Terp.
